ISTAT: growing signals that the Italian economy is slowing

"There are growing signals that the Italian economy is slowing," says the Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT), the main producer of official statistics in Italy, in its monthly economic note released this Monday.

The comments followed last week's disappointing composite Italian PMI print, which fell to its lowest level since January 2017 and reinforced economic slowdown.
